Michael Jordan is the man to most NBA players that came up and played in the 90s and the 2000s, there’s nobody greater than MJ. His aura was on a different level, Jordan dominated in his prime like perhaps no other player has. It’s no surprise that he is thought of as the GOAT, especially when you hear other NBA stars from the past talk about him.

Jamal Crawford had a long career in the league, and while he wasn’t an all-out star, he is respected as one of the best scorers and pure hoopers ever. Crawford came into the league in 2000, which means he played against Michael Jordan during his stint with the Washington Wizards. Michael Jordan was ruthless to his opponents, and this is something Crawford learned too. But he had nothing but deep respect for the GOAT.

Jamal Crawford Heaped Huge Praise On Michael Jordan

Some question whether Michael Jordan is the GOAT or not, but in the mind of someone like Jamal Crawford, it is a no-brainer. Speaking on the Jeremy Mills podcast, Crawford heaped huge praise onto MJ, saying that not only is he the greatest ever, but he will remain so effective forever.

(starts at 24:38 minutes)

“We played together two straight summers. That’s still so surreal to me. And I’m saying that with all the sincerity in the world because Michael Jordan is like, for basketball for me, he’s the end all, be all. Like he’s the best player I’ve ever seen, I believe he’s the best player I’ll ever see, I believe he’s the best player a million years from now. I really believe that. I believe he’s the best ever.

“Put it like this, Michael Jordan is so good that when somebody else is at the top of the top, the greatest in the sport, they’ll say, ‘David Beckham is the Michael Jordan of soccer.’ Like he’s the king of kings, he’s the best.”

These are not just empty words, it’s clear to see how much respect J-Crossover has for His Airness. Even when compared to other legends, Michael Jordan’s career achievements always stand out and show why he deserves all the praise that he gets. Ultimately, someone may surpass MJ one day, but for those that grew up watching MJ, he will always remain the GOAT.
