Draymond Green is one of the most vocal players in the league. Which is usually a good thing for the team he is playing for. Unfortunately, that’s not the case for his opposing teams.

We saw a perfect example of that during the 2022 NBA Finals series between the Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics. Throughout the entire series, Green heckled the Celtics players. Additionally, he got into verbal fights with the fans of the Celtics as well.

So it was a back-and-forth jibber-jabber between Green and the Celtics. Moreover, it didn’t stop once the series was over. If anything, it further increased Green’s confidence, and he continues to trash talk people.

The Warriors forward even made comments about it during the team’s championship parade. To be precise, he mentioned that he warned people not to let the Dubs win the championship because now he will continue to destroy people on Twitter.

Speaking of the championship parade, Green obviously didn’t forget about the Celtics. An image has surfaced on social media where Green can be seen holding a T-shirt that reads “Boston Sucks.” That isn’t all, the Warriors veteran also reacted to that image on Twitter with a “fire” emoji.

It’s very clear that we have seen a new rivalry brew right in front of our eyes. The Warriors broke the Celtics’ dream of winning the NBA Championship this season.

Additionally, they are not letting go of any chance to troll the ECF champions. Next season, when the Warriors will travel to Boston to play their regular season games, they will certainly be met with a lot of boos from the fans.

The vice versa can also be expected when the Celtics come to the Chase Center. Whatever be the case, it could turn out to be a top rivalry to watch out for in the coming years.
