Giannis Antetokounmpo achieved something that will forever earn him the respect of the basketball world with the 2021 Championship for the Milwaukee Bucks. Despite two seasons of rumors suggesting Giannis will be evaluating his options in free agency, he won the title the year he signed the extension with a 50-point performance in the close-out game.

However, a championship dynasty is built over multiple years and the Greek Freak knows that he needs to recruit star talent to join the Milwaukee Bucks. As a result, he put out an incredibly endearing video highlighting why free agents should join Milwaukee on his Instagram.

“Hey, this is beautiful and warm Milwaukee. Don’t look at the sweater. I could have no shirt on. This is our beach. Have you ever seen the beaches in Milwaukee? Beautiful. .. It’s my free-agency pitch, you know. I’m trying to get players, man. Gotta do what I gotta do.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the funniest players in the NBA. While he has had a massive fan following for years now, the championship win brought out a very endearing side of Giannis to everyone in the larger public. His video of ordering 50 chicken nuggets at Chick-Fil-A after his 50-point Game 6 performance in the NBA Finals was a viral sensation.

The top players that the Bucks have gotten have either been through trade or drafting. Their best free-agent player acquisition was Bobby Portis two seasons ago, who they retained for this year on a steal of a contract.

The Bucks won’t have any salary-cap space with the wages of Giannis, Jrue Holiday, and Khris Middleton, but the valuable off-season additions often end up being the veterans to round out the lineup who are attracted to larger markets. Maybe Milwaukee is the real destination for players to make their championship dreams come true.
