Anthony Davis has been called out for his inconsistent performances throughout the 2023 NBA playoffs. While some may think it’s unfair to criticize Davis, he proved his doubters right in the Los Angeles Lakers Game 2 loss vs. the Denver Nuggets.

Davis recorded 18 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, and 4 blocks in the 103-108 defeat. But more importantly, he shot an abysmal 4-15 from the field. AD addressed his poor offensive night in the postgame conference and vowed to get better in the next game.

“I got the same looks. A lot of them were just short tonight,” Davis said. “I’ll be better.”

In Game 1, Anthony Davis had a terrific performance on the offensive end of the floor. He had 40 points to his name in 42 minutes of playing time.

The Unibrow believes he didn’t attempt any different shots than he did in the opening game of the series. Either way, the Lakers need Davis to be a monster on both ends of the floor. After all, they are facing a phenomenal player in Nikola Jokic.

Anthony Davis Wants To Win Another Championship With The Lakers

Anthony Davis helped the Los Angeles Lakers in winning the 2020 NBA Championship. But following that title run, the Lakers fell off for two seasons.

After a rocky start to the 2022-23 NBA season, the Lakers are currently in the Western Conference Finals. Considering the Lakers started the season 2-10, they have already surpassed expectations, but Davis doesn’t want to stop until the Purple and Gold are once again crowned the champions of the league.

“Our guys, they’re hungry, they want it,” Davis said. “Just like me and Bron want another one. Now it’s time to go get it. Unfinished business. Now, we gotta go into Denver with that mindset.”

Davis currently has only one goal in mind, and it’s to win another title for the Lakers. The Purple and Gold are currently 0-2 in the Western Conference Finals and face an uphill battle heading to the Crypto.com Arena for Games 3 and 4.
