Anthony Edwards is one of the best young players in the league. At just 21 years of age, he has made it to the All-Star Game and has been playing at an incredibly elite level for the Minnesota Timberwolves. After some controversy last year, Edwards seems to have matured quite a bit as well and is expected to be the next man up for superstardom in the NBA.

Being just 21 years of age and seemingly destined for greatness is not an easy feat. Anthony Edwards is as special as they come. And there are things he can do at his age that most people can’t do in their whole lifetimes. Yet, even Ant-Man has his Kryptonite, the one thing even he cannot do. And he revealed what this is in a hilarious moment during a recent interview.

Interviewer: “So you got basketball, football, gaming, and rap. What is the one thing that Ant can’t do?”

Anthony Edwards: “I can’t beat the Wizards. I mean, I’ve been in the league for 3 years, we play them two times a year, I’m 0-6.”

That is a hilarious answer and one that many people might not have known. But it’s completely true. Anthony Edwards has an 0-6 record against the Washington Wizards, despite averaging 24 points per game against them during 6 matchups. Washington is in the East, and Minnesota is in the West, so the opportunities are limited, but it’s clear that this is something Edwards is taking personally. He doesn’t like missing games, though, so he’ll probably get a win against them sooner rather than later.

Anthony Edwards Sounded Off On Load Management

Many stars in today’s NBA take their health and rest very seriously in the regular season. This leads to missed games, which has been a major topic of contention. And Anthony Edwards recently spoke out against it

“If there’s anything I would change about the league to make it better, probably just all the guys sitting, resting. That’s the only thing I probably don’t like. Just play, man. If you 80%, if you 70, just play man. I don’t like all the sitting, missing games.”

Anthony Edwards has improved his game every season and has even taken the next step this season. He has improved himself on and off the court, making himself a great example for other young NBA players to follow. Now, if he could only beat the Wizards, we can truly say that Anthony Edwards has arrived.
