Bobby Portis is one of the best role players in the league, and there’s no doubt that he is a solid big man who can rebound, finish near the rim, and space the floor. He is clearly valuable and drives winning, notably being part of the Milwaukee Bucks’ 2021 championship squad.

The Milwaukee Bucks have rewarded Bobby Portis with a new contract, and he signed a $4-year, $49 million deal with the team. There’s no doubt that this is a steal for the team.

Free-agent F Bobby Portis is returning to the Milwaukee Bucks on a 4-year, $49M contract, his agent Mark Bartelstein of @PrioritySports tells ESPN.

Hopefully, we see the Milwaukee Bucks be among the top teams in the Eastern Conference next season. They were unable to get deep in the playoffs due to a Khris Middleton injury, but perhaps they will have better luck in terms of health next season.

Several other teams would have benefitted from getting Bobby Portis, but it is clear that he wanted to stay with the Bucks, as he won a championship with the franchise. Bobby Portis is one of the toughest defensive players in the league, and there’s no doubt that having him come off the bench and fill in as a starter sometimes is useful for the team.
