The Los Angeles Clippers, just like every other contender in the Western Conference, are making some interesting moves as the 2023 trade deadline approaches. The Clippers are expected to be one of the top teams in the West, but they need to make some moves first before competing for the top spot.

After acquiring John Wall after he was bought out by the Houston Rockets, they looked ready to put up a show in the West, but Wall has struggled to get things going on the Clips, who looked to move him a couple of weeks ago.

Now, John Wall’s tenure with the Clippers has ended, as the team is sending him back to his former team, which isn’t the best option for Wall at all. He didn’t leave the Rockets on the best terms and, as soon as he had the chance, blasted them.

Now, he’s ready to rejoin the Rockets, as the Clippers are landing veteran point guard Eric Gordon. Adrian Wojnarowski reports that this is a 3-team deal, with the Clippers sending Luke Kennard to the Memphis Grizzlies.

This wasn’t the best match for the Clippers or Wall, and they have moved on from the former All-Star. Recent reports suggest they are ready to make a shocking move for Russell Westbrook if he gets bought out by Utah Jazz.

Even after the trade deadline, the Clippers will be very active in the buyout market, trying to add more pieces that can boost their chances of winning it all this season. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are still great, and the Clippers are working on getting the right personnel to help them win the championship.
