Damian Lillard is tired of all the noise surrounding his future with the Portland Trail Blazers. The talented point guard has been very loyal to his team, but every year, rumors about his future start coming.

After entering another offseason, the Portland Trail Blazers have more questions to answer regarding Lillard. The point guard recently called out fans who want him gone from Portland, making it clear he won’t be where he’s not appreciated.

“If the fans wanna trade me … start the petition and send it in ‍♂️,” Lillard tweeted today after one fan said that those who want the player are gone were simply wrong.

After another fan accused him of wanting to leave the organization, Dame replied by saying he’s been there for a decade, and if other people think he’s not good for the team anymore, maybe he should just go.

“Been on the same team over a decade lol … I’m just saying if the ppl got different wishes ‍♂️,” Lillard wrote.

This year appears to be a good one for the Blazers, as they have the No. 3 overall pick in the upcoming draft. If they manage to land a good pick, things can get very interesting for Portland. However, Dame has made it clear he’s not interested in continuous rebuilding.

They could get a lot for that pick, and their GM anticipates lots of calls for that selection, which could help them land some help for Lillard.

Damian Lillard’s Future Remains A Big Question Around The League

As of right now, Lillard’s future is anything but a certainty. The player needs the right help to take this team to the promised land. He’s been trying to create something special in Portland, but things aren’t going in their favor.

Lillard recently shared a post of himself with Giannis Antetokounmpo, making it clear he’d like to have another superstar by his side. He also shared a cryptic tweet about playing with Victor Wembanyama, so leaving the Trail Blazers is still a big possibility for him.
