Draymond Green spoke out on the short-lived ‘beef’ between LeBron James and JaMychal Green. The Warriors’ role player put a cap on LeBron’s head on an Instagram story, rejecting the notion that the Lakers or LeBron don’t flop.

Green recently commented on this, explaining that James doesn’t need more motivation to play hard and win games.

“Everybody saying, ‘Oh man, JaMychal’s post motivated LeBron James.’ LeBron James is gonna come out and play that way because it’s a closeout game six at home and he knows going back Game 7 at Chase Center — you just don’t want to do that,” Draymond Green said on his podcast. “I highly doubt LeBron James is being moved by someone posting a blue cap on his head on an Instagram story. ‘Oh, you just don’t poke the bear that like.’ Stop — no poking no bear at this point in the season. You try and win you win or you lose.”

It’s crazy to think that LeBron needs to see somebody disrespecting him to play at his full level. He lived the same situation during the Memphis Grizzlies series with Dillon Brooks and responded in a big way. He made it clear he was mad at Brooks with a post-series Instagram post, and the same could be said about Green

LeBron James Takes A Jab At JaMychal Green On Instagram

The King reacted to the Lakers’ 4-2 win over the Golden State Warriors on Instagram, using a Drake lyric to blast bench players acting like starters. Even though he didn’t mention Green by name, it’s easy to see who he was talking about.

LeBron isn’t anybody to go off on an opponent like that. Even when Klay Thompson talked about his feelings being hurt in 2016, he simply laughed and spoke on the court. He did the same with Brooks, and probably with Green.

Now James will face a new challenge, trying to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to the NBA Finals.
