We’re going to try to win a championship.’ We were teammates. It’s just business, honestly. And that’s really all it was, it is, it has been. It’s just been business. It’s been basketball.”
During the season, Green revealed he was trying to return to the point he was with Poole before the infamous incident. However, things haven’t worked for them, and even during the playoffs, Poole was seen rejecting Green’s handshake.
This situation played a big role in the Warriors’ tumultuous season, even if they don’t want to admit to it. Now, they have many questions to answer after their second-round elimination and both Poole and Green could be out of the team this summer.
