Draymond Green was in the headlines after getting ejected in Game 2 vs. the Sacramento Kings.

Green received a flagrant 2 foul after stomping Domantas Sabonis in the chest. Following that, Green was showered with boos by the Kings’ fans. Knowing Draymond, he never backs down from confrontations with fans. He did so against a bunch of Kings fans who were showing him double middle fingers.

“Yeah, P***y, yeah.”

Green’s ejection played an instrumental role in the Warriors’ Game 2 defeat against the Kings. After all, Green’s departure from the court left a huge role in the Warriors’ defense, and the Kings took full advantage of it.

Draymond Green Reacts To His Ejection After Stomping On Domantas Sabonis

Over the course of his career, Draymond Green has built a reputation for being a dirty player. Upon seeing Green stomp on Sabonis, NBA fans were furious with the Warriors veteran and showed their anger on social media.

After the game, Green was asked about his thoughts on the play in the postgame conference. Draymond revealed Sabonis initiated the incident by grabbing his feet.

“My leg got grabbed. Second time in two nights. Referees just watch it. I gotta land my foot somewhere and I am not the most flexible person, so I can’t stretch it that far… I can only step so far with him pulling my leg away, it is what it is. The explanation was that I stomped too hard… I wasn’t surprised that he stayed down.”

Green defended himself and blamed Sabonis for overreacting regarding the incident. Regardless of who was at fault, the Warriors paid for it with a 106-114 defeat in Game 2 of the series.

This is the first time since the 2019 NBA Finals that the Dubs have lost back-to-back games in the playoffs. Keeping that in mind, the defending champions of the league are in huge trouble vs. the Sacramento Kings and need to improve their game to make a comeback.
