Blake Griffin Takes Kim Kardashian’s Token Of Love During SNL Skit: “I’ll Work On That”

After re-signing with the Brooklyn Nets in the offseason, Blake Griffin is taking the most advantage of New York life. Since his days with the Los Angeles Clippers, the 2011 Rookie of the Year was involved in the showbiz, but things are looking better for the big man now.

A week ago, the 32-year-old made a surprising appearance on the legendary show Saturday Night Live. Blake accompanied a series of stars, including WWE megastar and actor John Cena, comedian Chris Rock, Chace Crawford, Amy Schumer and more.

Kim Kardashian hosted the show and had one of the funniest skits of the night. The influencer had her bachelorette and played a woman named Rochelle. She named a series of candidates after supposedly dating them, including Blake.

Griffin was called “power forward for the Brooklyn Nets, Blake G.” Following his introduction, Kardashian called him out for his ‘inexcusable’ behavior at their BBQ, which moves something inside Griffin.

“Blake G, I’m gonna be honest. Your behavior at the BBQ was inexcusable,” Kardashian said before delivering an epic self-roast. “But, you’re also a six-time NBA All-Star and that intrigues me. Would you accept this token?”

Before accepting Kim/Rochelle’s token of love, Blake made it clear he would work on his issues.

“Absolutely, Rochelle,” Griffin replied. “You know what? I’ll work on that. Thank you.”

This was a very curious exchange, to say the least. Griffin used to date Kardashian’s sister Kendall Jenner and this was very strange to see. Still, this is not a big deal and they surely had a good time.

While Kendall has moved on from Blake and is now dating Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker, the Nets player is trying to win a championship with the Nets following a disappointing 2020/21 NBA season.

Amid all the Kyrie Irving drama, the rest of the team is trying to have a good time, with Blake really succeeding at it.
