Even after retiring from basketball at the start of this month, Joakim Noah keeps making headlines and this time it wasn’t precisely for something he did or say but the success his fiancée is having. The Chicago Bulls legend has been engaged to Lais Ribeiro since 2019 and even though he’s not playing anymore, he just keeps winning.

Ribeiro has been Victoria’s Secret model in prior years and she continues collaborating with big brands all over the world. This time, Sports Illustrated announced she is going to be featured on this year’s SI Swimsuit edition, bringing a lot of joy to both parties.

Via SI Swimsuit:

“SI Swimsuit Favorite Lais Ribeiro is Back! Lais has an aura of effortlessness around her that acts as a magnetic force, making it difficult to look away. She is gorgeous, and on top of that, she is an incredibly hard-working mother whose energy brings so much joy to those around her. She uses her platform to spread awareness around autism and what it’s like to be a mother of an autistic son. If there is one thing we can do as a brand, it’s to empower individuals to speak up for what they are passionate about and Lais uses her reach and influence to do just that. Creating another outlet for Lais to share her message and celebrate her, for us, is a no brainer.”

After 13 years in the NBA, Noah decided to retire, having played his last game with the Los Angeles Clippers. He left a lot of good memories from his career, including his animosity towards the city of Cleveland and especially LeBron James. He will be remembered as one of the best players in the recent history of the Chicago Bulls and one of the best defenders and passers in the center position.

Now it’s time to focus on something else and what better than his fiancée? They have plenty of time to be together now and Noah is probably really happy about that.
