The Miami Heat and Boston Celtics are engaged in a big battle in the 2023 Eastern Conference Finals. These two teams clashed in the same round last year, and the Celtics took the win in seven games.
Now, the Heat are looking very strong ahead of Game 3, and every player on the roster is locked in to reach the goal. So much so that Bam Adebayo has revealed he hasn’t talked with his friend Jayson Tatum since the series started. Not even on the court.
“F**k no. I mean, uh … no,” Adebayo said after realizing he cursed out in front of the media. “I don’t even talk to him on the court. He’s got on a green jersey, my jersey’s red.”
Bam Adebayo asked if he talks to Jayson Tatum during the series:
“F**k no. I mean, uh … no. I don’t even talk to him on the court. He’s got on a green jersey, my jersey's red.”

As good friends as they are, the Miami Heat’s big man knows he’s on a mission and he will cut any communication he has with Tatum for as long as this series keeps going. This is the way so many players use and for Bam, it seems to be working.
Miami has dominated the Celtics in the 4th quarter of the first two games of the series, always applying the simple but effective strategy: give the ball to Jimmy Butler and let him cook.
They are back in Miami now, hoping to get a big 3-0 advantage over the Celtics to get closer to the NBA Finals. Adebayo is playing at a great level, helping Butler dominate, and they’re not planning to stop anytime soon.
The Miami Heat Can Become The Second No. 8 Seed Ever To Play In The Finals
This postseason started with zero hopes for the Heat, but they’ve come from worst to good round after round. First, they beat the 2021 NBA champions and No. 1 seed Milwaukee Bucks before taking on the surprising New York Knicks.
Now, they are two games away from making history and becoming the second No. 8 seed in NBA history to reach the NBA Finals, behind the 1999 New York Knicks. The Heat are ready to keep defying the odds, and if the Celtics don’t make the adjustments, they can get swept in the ECF.
