James was setting an example for the rest of his team as per one fan.

A fan praised LeBron and Anthony Davis for their effort in the third quarter.

A fan had nothing but respect for James for his hustle.

A fan couldn’t believe what James did here.

It took a fair bit out of James too, as he had to rest on the bench for a short while. He returned and made some more hustle plays as well and helped the team take control of the game in the third quarter. LeBron surprisingly didn’t even attempt a shot in the first quarter but still had a big impact with his playmaking and rebounding. As the game went on, he did get going offensively and finished the night with 21 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists, and a steal.

LeBron James Is Playing A Different Style Of Basketball Now

It was not one of those crazy LeBron stat lines that we have seen over the years, but he doesn’t need to play that way anymore. Draymond Green said James is playing a different style of basketball now, as he is off the ball a lot more. He may not put up those ridiculous numbers, but the team is winning as they did here, as they blew away the Warriors 127-97.

LeBron seems to be expending a lot of energy now on aspects other than scoring. He is rebounding the ball at a great clip and has been very active on defense as we saw here. With Anthony Davis and the rest of his supporting cast playing well, LeBron can finally take a bit of a backseat on offense but you’d think that if the need does arise at some point, he is capable of exploding and having a big night.
