Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors had yet another impressive performance against the LA Clippers. In a game at the Staples Center, the Warriors proceeded to defeat the Clippers thanks to a late-game explosion by Steph Curry who seemed agitated after a no-call and also receiving a technical.

During the game, Curry drove to the basket on a fast break, only to be brought down roughly by Terance Mann. However, Curry did not get the foul call and got in the ref’s face in a heated manner. For the altercation, Curry received a technical foul. And that’s when things got worse for the Clippers.

At that point in the game, the Clippers still had a chance to bring themselves back as the game was still close. However, after the technical, Curry proceeded to torch the Clippers by nailing 3 consecutive three-pointers that increased the deficit for the Clippers.

The Clippers-Warriors game log shows that Curry immediately made a three from near half-court. From there, the Warriors and Clippers exchanged position for almost a minute, including a Paul George-made three-pointer. Curry brought the ball up the court and sank two more threes on the next two plays from the right and left wing.

Clearly, Curry was furious with the no-call and proceeded to take that anger out on the Clippers. The game ended up being an exhibition for Curry in the final minutes. After his 3rd three-pointer, Curry even mocked the ref by making the ‘technical’ gesture at him.

Steve Kerr suggested that Curry’s outburst and subsequent performance was a result of his competitive spirit, and his feeling the referee did not give him a call that he felt he should have gotten.

Curry ended the game with 33 points, including 7 three-pointers, and you can catch his highlights below. And the Warriors will be hoping that Steph can carry this anger all the way till the end of the season. But even without the anger, Steph Curry is incredibly dangerous and could be eying his third MVP trophy this season.
