Stephen Curry has simply been sensational this season. The Golden State Warriors superstar is putting up insane numbers and is making a case for winning the third regular-season MVP of his career.

The best part about Curry’s game is that even after scoring so much, he never lets his efficiency take a hit. Moreover, his talent of consistently knocking down free throws makes him even more dangerous for opponents.

Usually, fans are in awe of Steph’s scoring and the ability to hit impossible shots from time to time. As a result, most forget to praise him for his efficiency. Well, thanks to a Reddit post by user u/HailSnover, everyone was once again reminded about the greatness of Steph. According to the Redditor:

Steph Curry is once again on pace to be in the 60/90 club (60% eFG and 90% FT). Only 4 players in history have achieved this while scoring > 20 PPG.

Steph Curry this season: 28.6 PPG @60.3/94.2

The other 4 players are:

2015-2016 Steph Curry 63.0/90.8

2017-2018 Steph Curry 61.8/92.1

2018-2019 Steph Curry 60.4/91.6

2020-2021 Steph Curry 60.5/91.6

For those who aren’t aware of the 60/90 club, the “60” stands for eFG% and “90” for FT%. It truly takes a lot of effort to enter this club all while shooting more than 20 points per game. So it is quite easy to understand why no other player in NBA history has achieved it.

The direct impact of Chef Curry’s elite performance can be seen in how well the Warriors are playing so far. They have an 18-2 record which translates to the best record in the league.

As for Steph’s game, the only flaw that most people used to point out was his mediocre defense. Well, this season Curry has improved that aspect of his game as well. His teammate and former DPOY winner Draymond Green even called Curry one of the best defenders on the team.

This raises the question: what can’t Steph Curry do? Apart from his contributions on the court, Curry is a great presence in the locker room as well. There is no doubt that Steph’s incredible personality is one of the biggest reasons for players wanting to don the GSW jersey.
