Big man Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the most prominent superstars in the league, and there’s no doubt that he is key to the Milwaukee Bucks’ chances of winning a championship. The team likely won’t get far without him, and unfortunately, he has been dealing with a back injury.

A recent update from Adrian Wojnarowski revealed that the Milwaukee Bucks have ruled out Giannis Antetokounmpo for Game 3 against the Miami Heat. This is definitely a huge blow for the team, as they will have to try to win a road game without their superstar.

It will be interesting to see how the Milwaukee Bucks will do without Giannis Antetokounmpo. They did manage to win Game 2, and the squad still has solid players like Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton. They can both be potent scorers in any game, and their offensive production will be key if they get another game against the Miami Heat.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has averaged 31.1 PPG, 11.8 RPG, and 5.7 APG for the Milwaukee Bucks this season. There’s no doubt that he’s dominant on the interior and elite on the defensive end, and his two-way contributions are why many believe that he is the best player in the league.

NBA Players Believe The Milwaukee Bucks Will Win The Championship This Season

When they’re healthy, the Milwaukee Bucks are clearly one of the best teams in the league. In fact, a large number of the league’s players believe that the Bucks will be the team that hoists the championship trophy at the end of the season. One player cited their experience as the key reason why he believes in them.

“Just veterans,” one player said. “They’ve been there before. They know what they’re doing. They have guys at every position and go deep.”

The Milwaukee Bucks are a team that knows how to win at the highest level, and it is true that their depth is elite. The key of course is simply having Giannis Antetokounmpo as healthy as possible for the rest of the playoffs, and the rest will sort itself out.

Hopefully, we see Giannis Antetokounmpo come back sooner rather than later. It would be a shame to see him miss a huge chunk of the playoffs. Knowing Antetokounmpo though, he is doing everything he can to get back on the court, and we’ll see how fast he can get back to winning games with the Bucks.
