A Golden State Warriors fan thanked Jordan Poole in a wholesome tweet for his services during his time in the Bay area as he now starts his NBA journey with his new team, the Washington Wizards.
Taking to Twitter, the fan wrote:
Running this back one last time 🥹 Big salute to Jordan Poole, mans held it down during 2022 post season championship run. Lot of adversity in his young career, he’s been forged in fire. Big things in deck.

Poole’s trade was one of the bigger news this offseason as the Warriors sent him to the Wizards for Chris Paul to further bolster their experienced lineup comprising Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.
The young guard has been the cynosure of all eyes ever since his altercation with Green during the offseason last year, and the focus has moved from his game to his relationship with his teammates since.
Poole averaged 20.4 PPG, 2.7 RPG, and 4.5 APG in the 2022-23 NBA season. The one thing that matters during his time with the Wizards is if he can keep up the level of production as he did with Golden State, or even get better for that matter.
The Warriors Veterans Had Problems With Jordan Poole
There was more to the fractured relationship between Poole and Green, as even the other Warriors vets had issues with the young star.
Logan Murdock of The Ringer revealed on The Bill Simmons Podcast that multiple veterans had a problem with Poole in the locker room.
“All the established guys had some version of a problem with Jordan Poole,” Murdock added. “Whether it was Klay (Thompson) ironically saying that Jordan doesn’t pass the ball enough and shoots too much. And then you have Draymond, who sees Jordan as this guy, is like: ‘Yeah, I did punch him. I did do all these things, but now I don’t have a voice within the locker room because of what happened just now.’ And he has spoken about that on his podcast. And then you have Steph (Curry) who was like trying to bring all of this together and was like, ‘Man, I am behind you Jordan, can you just get right so we can win?'”
The one thing the fan got right is that Poole is forged in fire after going through tougher times right at the start of his career. Maybe the Wizards were where he was meant to be.
