The Boston Celtics have the chance to make history in the Eastern Conference Finals. After going down 3-0 to the Miami Heat, the Celtics have won two games and could become the first team to overcome a 3-0 deficit in the playoffs if they win their next two games.

And Celtics legend Paul Pierce thinks that the Celtics will force the Heat to play a Game 7 in Boston. When asked about a possible Game 7 taking place, Pierce said “I’ll be out here Monday, for sure”. Monday is the day a potential Game 7 would take place, so it is clear what Pierce is hinting at.

The Celtics play Game 6 tonight against the Heat in Miami. Boston faces a pretty heavy challenge tonight, as they must win in order to push the series to a Game 7. Considering the Heat are playing at home, and will want to avoid a Game 7, Miami will be highly motivated to defeat the Celtics and close out the series in their home.

Can Boston Do The Impossible?

Not many people gave the Boston Celtics a chance to come back in this series. But if they were to win tomorrow, they would give themselves a massive advantage, as they have home court advantage, and will be playing Game 7 in their home arena. On top of that, the Celtics have played a Game 7 during this playoff run, where Jayson Tatum went off, scoring 51 points.

Richard Jefferson has predicted that the Celtics will complete the comeback and become the first team in history to overcome a 3-0 deficit. Will the Celtics complete the comeback? We’ll find out tonight when Game 6 tips off in Miami.
