Jordan Poole is one of the most disappointing players of the 2023 NBA Playoffs. After having a magical playoffs run last year, even becoming an NBA champion, Poole’s level has decreased.

People say this is Draymond Green’s fault after the big man punched Poole in the face during the preseason. Stats show how different things are for Poole this postseason compared to the 2022 playoffs.

It’s pretty clear that he’s not having a good moment in the 2023 playoffs. The situation has gotten worse in recent games, as Poole has been a shell of himself. He received a lot of criticism after missing a late 3-pointer in Game 1 of the Golden State Warriors vs. Los Angeles Lakers series.

Now the Dubs are down 1-2 after losing Game 3 in a terrible way. The Lakers completely dominated them, with Anthony Davis putting up a show while LeBron James simply accompanied the Brow.

This is a big thing for the Lakers, who can win without having to rely on LeBron James. The Warriors, on the other hand, will need Poole to step up to tie this series in Game 4 and close the deal in the next games.

Jordan Poole Has Been Under Fire In The 2023 Playoffs

This postseason hasn’t been easy on Poole, who is trying to find his best version again. He showed flashes of that during the Sacramento Kings series after being unhappy with his lack of playing time.

However, things haven’t changed for Poole. He needs to do better on the court. His decision-making has been poor, and the Warriors have suffered a lot, thanks to that.

He can be a great player, no doubt about it, but to make a real impact on his team, it’s mandatory to step up. Stephen Curry said the Warriors will be fine for the rest of the series, but Poole needs to have a bigger role if he aspires to help his squad reach important stages.
