Kendrick Perkins Says Kyrie Irving Is More Skilled Than Michael Jordan And Kobe Bryant: “It’s Not What He Do, It’s How He Do It.”

Kyrie Irving is making the most out of the opportunities he gets to play this season. The Brooklyn Nets superstar is only a part-time player, but whenever he takes the court, he goes off. Earlier this week, Kyrie tied the highest scoring of the season, dropping 60 points against the Orlando Magic.

He broke many records with that performance, and also earned a lot of praise from many people around the league. The 2016 NBA champion knows he can only play road games and is trying to maximize his opportunities.

Following his incredible performances, a lot of people had something to say about it, including somebody who criticized him a lot in the past. Kendrick Perkins had nothing but good things to say about Irving, even calling him the most skilled player in NBA history.

“He is the most skilled player to ever play the game,” Perkins said on NBA Today following Irving’s 60-point outburst. “And it is no disrespect to Michael Jordan. It is no disrespect to the late great Kobe Bryant. It is no disrespect to Olajuwon and a lot of others. But when you look at what Kyrie doing, how he does it. It’s not what he do, it’s how he do it.”

Perk is famous for making bold claims and this one is another to add to that list. The former Boston Celtics big man is often raising eyebrows with his opinion, especially when he changes his mind about people he constantly criticized.

Kyrie could return to the Barclays Center court as a player really soon, with the Nets hoping he unleashes all his power. With Ben Simmons still out, Kevin Durant needs Kyrie on the floor, but we have to wait and see when that happens.

Brooklyn is still a dangerous team. If they get Irving and Simmons back, it’ll be scary hours for the rest of the East.
