Kevin Durant is quite the beast on the court as well as off it. Perhaps no other superstar has engaged with fans on the level that KD has throughout the years. His Twitter is filled with replies to fans that get too cocky, he doesn’t believe that he is above interacting with them by being an NBA superstar.

There has been plenty of reason for KD to get trolled, too. His move to the Golden State Warriors was met with universal derision. His latest trade request to the Brooklyn Nets also has people calling him out for supposedly running away. Durant had made some comments about his move to Golden State in 2016 being the hardest road, and a fan recently used that in an attempt to troll him on Twitter.

“Car wouldn’t start this morning, get to work late and our internet is down. Lol. I love this shit. Unlike @KDTrey5 I actually enjoy taking the hardest road…it’s basically just problem solving practice.”

The fan thought he could probably get a few likes and laughs from fellow haters, and that would be the end of that. However, being ever vigilant on Twitter as he is, Durant chose this tweet to fire back at in a hilarious fashion.

“U enjoy having a shitty car and getting to work and not being able to connect to the internet?”

Hustle culture is sometimes responsible for people glorifying experiences that are quite terrible and that no one should have to go through. This seems to be another example of that, which gave KD the ammo to make a quick and clever retort to the troll.

Durant has to know that joining the winningest team in NBA regular season history cannot be considered the hardest road by any measure. Even if that is the case, though, he is seemingly sticking by his guns. And even if not, he definitely enjoys taking a little time out of his day to hilariously troll some haters.
