The city of Philadelphia will see its NBA championship drought extend to 31 seasons after another second-round elimination at the hands of the Boston Celtics.

Jayson Tatum scored 51 points in Game 7 to send the 76ers packing, causing diehard 76ers fan Kevin Hart to send a passive-aggressive message to the forward.

“I’m hurt, the world knows it, no point in trying to hide it. I am not a sore loser. It’s not about how you win, it’s about how you lose and I’m going to lose like a man and stand on mine. Jayson Tatum, I hate you but I gotta give you props, brother. The friend you are and the true competitor you turned out to be today. You showed up, you showed out, and put your foot in our ass. I am upset, and the city’s upset, but we’ll figure it out… What I’m going to do is celebrate you, brother. I’m about hard work and you proved to put in the work, which is why it paid off, brother. This shot goes to you. Congrats on your win. I hope you’re proud of yourself, you f***ing a**hole.”

Hart is a Philadelphia native and was rightfully upset at his team’s inability to close it out. Philly hasn’t had an answer for Tatum since the fourth quarter of Game 6 and paid the price for not being able to stop him with another season of disappointment.

Celtics Riding Through To The NBA Finals?

The Celtics will face off against the underdog story of the Miami Heat, who have fought into the Conference Finals as an eighth seed. They beat the mighty Bucks and will fancy their chances at springing an upset against the Celtics as well, even though Boston may be a far deeper team with their terrific eight-man rotation.

The Heat will not be an easy opponent, as they have shown. He is averaging 31.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 5.4 assists and will need to perform his first-round heroics once again to get revenge on Boston for their loss in the same round last season. That came down to a Game 7 in Boston, so Miami will hope to get a fast start in this series and stop the C’s from taking the series that far.
