LeBron James last played for the Los Angeles Lakers on the 26th of February when he suffered a foot injury and fans have been eagerly waiting for his return.
Teammate Dennis Schroder had hinted that James had gotten treatment from German doctors, so when a video surfaced of LeBron running into the Lakers’ tunnel, a fan hilariously stated that the doctors performed a miracle.

Considering it has been almost a month, it would have been a real concern if LeBron still wasn’t able to move around like this. Head coach Darvin Ham had previously stated that everything has been going according to plan in James’ recovery and he later confirmed that LeBron will return this season.
James was also reportedly overheard telling an arena employee that he will definitely be back for the playoffs. Apart from the occasional hiccups, the Lakers have played fairly well without him, and adding him to this mix will make them a formidable unit. Prior to going down with this injury, James was having a phenomenal season, averaging 29.5 PPG, 8.4 RPG, and 6.9 APG while also shooting 50.1% from the field.
LeBron James Might Not Be Fully Healthy When He Returns
While he was moving around just fine here, it’ll still be a while before he gets back on the court. Even when that time comes, though, NBA insider Chris Haynes says LeBron might not be fully healthy. Haynes stated that the Lakers are just trying to buy him as much time as they can so that he can recover as much as possible.
If LeBron isn’t quite at his best in the playoffs, then that means more responsibility would fall on the shoulders of Anthony Davis. The big man has continued to be a source of great frustration for Lakers fans in this stretch, as he has been very inconsistent. There have been games where Davis has looked like one of the very best players in the league but there have also been some in which he has been very mediocre. The Lakers, who are currently the 11th seed with a 35-37 record, need the very best of AD in every game moving forward, but it remains to be seen if he can be consistent.
