LeBron James Delivers Special Message To Bryce About His Basketball Journey

LeBron shows support for his youngest son after highlight reel goes viral on Twitter.

Just four wins away from the NBA Finals, LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers are fully locked into the mission at hand. Even still, it doesn’t mean that the King can’t spread some awareness about the rise of one of his own.

Bryce James, a sophomore at Sierra Canyon High School, is apparently joining the family business as a full-time basketball player. Just like his brother, Bronny, and his dad, King James, Bryce is making a name for himself in the basketball world and LeBron is doing everything he can to support his son and give him some time in the spotlight.

Keep going Young [King] !!! Maximus on the rise,” James wrote in a Tweet.

This is going to be a busy summer for the James family. With LeBron on his way to potentially winning his fifth championship, it’s very clear that he’s still in the business of competing for titles, and he’s going to be working hard to keep it that way, regardless of how these playoffs pan out. Meanwhile, Bronny has finally committed to USC, and we can expect a major transition period for him as he adjusts to life as a college athlete.

Of course, there’s also Bryce. While he’s still too young to properly judge his talent level, there are whispers that he could be a legitimate NBA player… perhaps with even greater potential than Bronny.

How Good Is Bryce James?

Bryce will likely end up being taller than Bronny, and scouts have been impressed with what they’ve seen so far. When it comes to physical gifts and natural athletic ability, it seems Bryce was blessed more so than the rest of his siblings.

His second son, Bryce, who’s 15, was born during the 2007 Finals, so he’s like a young sophomore. He is much more physically gifted, he’s taller than Bronny already, he looks more like his dad, although not really, but he is more reminiscent of what LeBron looked like as a 16-year-old,” said ESPN’s Brian Windhorst. “He has a lot of differing interests. He’s getting into basketball, at least at this point, he doesn’t have the same focus on basketball as Bronny does. So the interesting thing is, the more naturally talented son appears to be his second son, Bryce. But the one who wants it so badly is Bronny.”

Only time will tell if Bronny and Bryce can make the leap into NBA stardom, but there’s no question that they are facing immense pressure as the children of basketball royalty. Fortunately, they seem to be well-equipped to handle the lifestyle and everything that comes with it.
