While LeBron James keeps fighting to make it to his 11th NBA Finals, the King is making moves off the court, and on June 2, James will probably live one of the most important moments of his life.
LeBron’s biopic movie ‘Shooting Stars’ is set to premiere in a couple of weeks, and the King recently shared a series of Instagram stories showing the trailer of the movie.

‘Shooting Stars’ will focus on LeBron’s time in high school when he was part of a terrific team that went on to win a national championship and marked a big era in amateur basketball.
They had a very talented group of players, but the one that stood out the most was LeBron, who created his ‘Chosen One’ image during that time. The journey wasn’t easy, but the King never skipped a step, endured the bad times, and in the end, became a national champion.
“I think we found with movies like ‘Hustle’ and ‘Shooting Stars’ over the years: Taking athletes and teaching them how to be actors and putting them through that exercise is definitely more effective than taking actors and teaching them how to be athletes,” one of the film’s producers, Spencer Bailey, said. “In this movie, these five guys can all play ball.”
The movie talks about these situations, presenting LeBron’s four friends that helped him win the title and go straight to the NBA. They had to go through rough times during their quest, but in the end, everything worked out for them.
LeBron James Became The Best High School Player In The Country With His Fab Five
This movie comes in at the right time, as many people have debated who is the best prospect in NBA history between LeBron James and Victor Wembanyama. With the Frenchman set to become the 2023 No. 1 overall pick, everybody has compared him and his hype to LeBron.
Draymond Green believes he’s special but not a better prospect than LeBron James. Still, Wemby is expected to have a similar impact to LeBron on the league.
The comparisons won’t stop coming, but it’s fair to say that LeBron has done so great in the league that he exceeded expectations, which is a lot to say. Everything started during his time at St. Vincent-St. Mary, and Bron will celebrate that soon.
The movie is set to premiere on June 2, one day after the 2023 NBA Finals start.
