LeBron James once spent around $100,000 on a picture just because he wanted his wife, Savannah, to do a photo shoot like what was shown in it. LeBron’s former teammate, Michael Beasley, recounted James buying the picture when they were together at a restaurant in New York.

“I remember one time, we was in New York,” Beasley said. “I forgot, it was some Italian restaurant and it was a picture on the wall that some famous person took. It was like $100,000 or some s***. And Bron looked at it and he called his wife and he was like, ‘Yo, I want you to do a photo shoot like the picture.'”

James then bought the picture and told Beasley he would put it in his storage and hang the one with his wife in his house.

“He had the owner come over but he told the dude I want to buy it,” Beasley continued. “So now I’m like, ‘Really? Bro, what you about to do with that?’ This might have been the most player, romantic, boss s*** I’ve ever seen, he literally said, ‘I’m gonna have my wife recreate the photo shoot. I’m gonna put this one in the storage and I’m gonna my wife’s in the house.”

LeBron has a bit of a reputation for not being willing to spend a lot of money, but I suppose that goes out of the window when it comes to his wife. James and Savannah were high school sweethearts who got married in September 2013. The 39-year-old dearly loves his wife and would go to any length for her.

A fan said their love runs deep.

One called LeBron a huge role model to follow.

A fan hilariously compared LeBron to Ted Mosby.

One found it funny that James would do this but not pay for Pandora without ads.

I wonder if it is still up in his house somewhere all these years later. Beasley and LeBron were teammates on two separate occasions, once in 2013-14 with the Miami Heat and then in 2018-19 with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Michael Beasley Reportedly Always Beat LeBron James 1-On-1 In Practice

Beasley was the second pick of the 2008 NBA Draft, and there was a lot of hype surrounding him when he entered the league. Unfortunately, he didn’t quite have the career that many had envisioned he would and was just a role player for much of his time in the league. Still, the talent was there, and as per Tom Haberstroh, Beasley would reportedly always beat LeBron 1-on-1 in practice.

“Legit, in practice in Miami, I would watch these practices where LeBron and Michael Beasley would go at it — like one-on-one. And Beasley would beat him every time. He’s so good!”

James was at the peak of his powers back when he was with the Heat, which makes this all the more impressive. It’s just a shame that Beasley was never quite able to make his mark in the NBA. He was a gifted scorer, but deficiencies in other aspects of his game and some off-the-court issues meant it wasn’t to be.
