LeBron James is one of the greatest athletes the world has ever seen, but pro golfer Max Homa hilariously says he understands why no one has ever said he could play golf professionally. Homa was reacting to NBA players’ golf swings and roasted James for his.

“I’ve seen this on Instagram before, this always warms my heart,” Homa said. “It’s the greatest athlete in the world, he makes me feel so much better about myself. You always hear people say LeBron James could have played tight end in the NFL, and I’m starting to get why no one’s ever mentioned him playing golf professionally. That’s tough. That’s a tough scene for King James.”

The 33-year-old Homa isn’t the only one who thinks that form is terrible, as NBA fans have also roasted LeBron’s golf game. He can’t be great at everything after all, and James’ golf game certainly needs some work. The 39-year-old can maybe get to it after he retires, although that doesn’t seem to be happening for a few years at least.

As for Homa, he hilariously rates golf swings fairly often on social media. The No. 8 ranked golfer in the world has a great sense of humor, and that was a hilarious roast of LeBron’s. Homa is actually a Los Angeles Lakers fan too, and he would be hoping that James can lead the franchise to another championship this season.

LeBron returned from an ankle injury against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday night to lead the Lakers to a 123-118 win. The 20-time All-Star is now averaging 24.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, 7.8 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.6 blocks per game this season.

LeBron James Received Offers From The Cowboys And The Seahawks During The 2011 Lockout

While golf may never have been an option for LeBron, football might have been, as Homa mentioned there. LeBron revealed he even received contract offers from the Dallas Cowboys and the Seattle Seahawks to play in the NFL during the NBA’s lockout in 2011.

“That’s true. Jerry Jones offered me a contract, also Pete Carroll did as well in Seattle, during our lockout time. It definitely got my blood flowing again, it got my mind racing again thinking about the game of football, being out there on Sunday. You know, we was able to get a deal done in the NBA, and I was back on the court in no time. But I definitely thought about it. I still got the jersey too, that Jerry and Pete Carroll sent me from 2011.”

I don’t think there was any chance LeBron would have accepted those offers at the end of the day, but it would have been quite something to see him play in the NFL. Clips of James playing football in high school show he had what it takes to pursue a career in the NFL, but he might not have become an all-time great as he has in the NBA.

There is one other sport that James believes he could have been the greatest at, though. LeBron claimed he would have been the GOAT of Lacrosse if he wasn’t the GOAT of basketball. He believes he would be a beast out on the field.
