  • Antonio Daniels believes LeBron James is still the face of the NBA
  • The analyst claimed that we’ve never seen anyone do what James does at 38
  • Every LeBron James game is “must-see TV”

Superstar LeBron James is still one of the top superstars in the NBA at age 38, and he is still clearly the best player on the Los Angeles Lakers. He managed to lead the team into the Western Conference Finals in the 2023 playoffs, and it is likely that the Lakers will continue being contenders next season.

There is no doubt that LeBron James is still one of the most popular players in the league, despite him being in the twilight of his career. Recently, NBA analyst Antonio Daniels explained why fans still line up to watch James play, noting that the superstar is still “the face” of the league.

“LeBron is still LeBron. Every time he takes the floor, it is must-see TV. Every Lakers game on the road is sold out. You know why? Because it’s LeBron… because he’s still the face of the NBA… we’ve never seen a guy this age do the things LeBron James is continuing to do in between these four lines.”

There is no doubt that LeBron James’ longevity is extremely impressive. He has managed to play at an All-NBA level since his sophomore year in the league, and he is a 19-time All-NBA selection for a reason. James has shown no signs of slowing down just yet, and he could be in line for another elite season next year.

This past year with the Los Angeles Lakers, LeBron James averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists in 55 games. He is clearly still one of the most impactful players in his position, and hopefully, he continues to play at this level for at least a few more years.

Coach Tyronn Lue Thinks LeBron James Could Score 50 Points Every Game If He Wanted To

Throughout his career, LeBron James has made a name for himself as a pass-first forward, that is always capable of making the right play in any situation. However, he is still a capable scorer, and he notably became the all-time leading scorer this season. In fact, coach Tyronn Lue once claimed that LeBron James could score 50 points every game if he wanted to, but added that the superstar prefers to play the right way.

LeBron James has had some of his best scoring seasons with the Los Angeles Lakers, averaging 30.3 points during the 2021-22 season, and 28.9 points in the 2022-23 season. We’ll see how he does next year in that regard, and we might see another legendary season from the superstar.
