The Los Angeles Lakers have had to deal with a lot of negativity around the team for the better part of the last 2 seasons. The team has been in a great groove recently, and they have just received a massive boost. Shams Charania reported that LeBron James is feeling good enough to make his return from injury against the Chicago Bulls.

“LeBron James is now available to make his Lakers return today vs. Bulls,” Charania wrote.

LeBron James will likely not be at his best, but he will be able to play for the Los Angeles Lakers. Naturally, fans were thrilled about it, with some huge reactions to the news. One fan wrote: Let’s go!! The GOAT is back.”

Another fan couldn’t contain his excitement, predicting that the Lakers will now get even better: “It’s happening! The Lakers are coming!!”

Most kept it simple though, the excitement leaves little room for too many words. As one fan simply said, “The King is back baby!”

It’s been a rocky road for the Los Angeles Lakers at times, but now that LeBron James is back, things are looking different: “The season starts today again right?”

And while the objective, for now, remains that the Lakers make it back into the playoffs, some fans have bigger aspirations for the season: “The title charge starts NOW.”

These are exciting times for the Los Angeles Lakers, they have every opportunity to make a massive push for the playoffs. And if James’ return can earn them some momentum, then absolutely anything can happen in the playoffs.

LeBron James Will Come Off The Bench In His First Game Back

LeBron James being able to return to the floor so soon is excellent news for the team, as it gives them 8 games to be able to ease him back into the rotation. As such, Shams Charania reported that James would be starting his first game back from the bench.

“LeBron James will come off the bench today vs. Bulls, Lakers say,” Charania tweeted.

The Los Angeles Lakers have two games against the Bulls and then a whole host of Western Conference teams to face to close out their season. LeBron James being back will allow them to see their whole new-look roster in action properly. It’s a great time to be a Lakers fan.
