There have been some contentious moments in these playoffs and we nearly got another one in Game 3 between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors.

In the second quarter of the contest, Anthony Davis got tripped as Moses Moody grabbed his leg.

NBA fans reacted to the incident as they blasted Moody and the Warriors.

A fan believes Moody should have been ejected as that isn’t a basketball play.

A fan blasted the Warriors for being a dirty team.

A fan took a shot at Draymond Green by stating that Davis didn’t stomp on Moody for it.

A fan believes the Warriors often resort to these tactics with their role players.

Moody should be suspended for this incident as per one fan.

Moody received a flagrant 1 and it was termed as a take foul, so the Lakers got two free throws and possession of the ball. It is unclear whether Moody really meant to trip Davis there, but intent only matters to the person who did the act. Considering how fragile AD is, this could have caused him some serious damage but fortunately, it didn’t.

Davis has had a strong first half for the Lakers, with 16 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocks. The Lakers are leading 59-48 at the half thanks to his good play and look on their way to establishing a 2-1 lead in this series.

Anthony Davis Has Been Aggressive In Game 3

Davis was dominant in Game 1 as he led the Lakers to victory but as has been the trend in these playoffs, he followed it up with a dud. He had gone 11-19 in Game 1 to finish with 45 points but was just 5-11 in Game 2 and scored 11 points.

AD has not had back-to-back 20-point games this postseason, as one great game is always followed by a bad one. It was to be expected then, that he’d ball out here as he has done so far. He is 5-8 from the field and you’d expect him to get close to 20 shots here and that is good news for the Lakers.
