NBA Fans React To Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry And Luka Doncic’s 2K Ratings

2 Min Read

NBA 2K22 looks closer every day as we discover more details about the upcoming new installment of the basketball simulator.

The company has recently announced a couple of ratings, showing how high or low our favorite players got after the 2020/21 NBA season. First, they announced Luka Doncic’s rating, which is a 94 for the Dallas Mavericks star.

Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry have a 96 OVR rating, probably being two of the best five players on the video game this year. Fans reacted to these ratings, showing their disagreement with these decisions, explaining why these players deserve more and others should get less.

Moreover, the Milwaukee Bucks Big 3 of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, and Jrue Holiday also received their rating. The Greek Freak got a 96, Middleton 88, and Holiday 85. Of course, this also raised some eyebrows around the league, with people calling 2K out for the disrespect.

Nikola Jokic also saw his rating unveiled, getting a 95 OVR. According to fans, this is low for a reigning NBA MVP, again blasting the game over this.

Even though some people could say that the 2K community is toxic, it doesn’t look like the developers are doing much to improve the experience. Every year they receive a lot of criticism. More fans on social media show their disappointment with the new versions of the game.

Seeing these ratings, it’s fair to say that things didn’t start the best way for NBA 2K22. Fans are still waiting to see gameplay, but nobody is talking about that.
