The Los Angeles Lakers recently faced the Chicago Bulls in a crucial regular season game, with this being a must-win matchup for both teams when it came to the play-in tournament and playoff picture. The Lakers got blown out and never looked to be in control of the game.

This was a bad loss for the Los Angeles Lakers, and a lot of fans took to Twitter to discuss the result. A number of fans ended up roasting the Lakers, with one of them using a photo of Patrick Beverley as a meme.

One fan had a simple two-word message for the team.

This game was marked by the return of superstar LeBron James to the Los Angeles Lakers lineup, and he finished with 19 points 8 rebounds, and 3 assists. Unfortunately, he was unable to help the team get the win.

The Los Angeles Lakers will still have a chance to get to the playoffs this season, either via the play-in tournament or making the fifth or sixth seed outright. They definitely have the talent to do so, and we’ll see what ends up happening in the future.

Patrick Beverley Stated That He Wants To Knock The Lakers Out Of The Playoff Race

The Chicago Bulls got the best of the Los Angeles Lakers today, and they will face them once again down the stretch of the season. Patrick Beverley is a former Laker, and he previously stated that he wants to knock the Lakers out of the playoff race

“We play the Lakers twice,” said Beverley. ” I want to knock them out of the playoffs. We gotta get in the playoffs, so excuse us.”

The Western Conference playoff race is notoriously tight this year, and one loss could be the difference between getting to the postseason or being out of the play-in tournament entirely. This loss was huge for the Lakers, and if they lose to the Bulls once again, then Patrick Beverley might end up getting the final laugh.

Of course, it is quite likely that LeBron James and Anthony Davis will come back with a vengeance during the team’s next matchup against the Chicago Bulls. The Lakers are probably the better team overall from a talent standpoint, and we’ll see what happens in the future.
