The NBA’s history is filled with players that dominated their eras and changed the game. The league can boast of several legends who left a huge impact on the game, although only a few are in the conversation to be the greatest ever. Talent is at an all-time high across the league at the present moment, but since just the 90s, there have been some incredible superstars that played at an elite level.

The GOAT debate continues to rage on between Michael Jordan and LeBron James. Some firmly believe Kobe Bryant should be a part of it as well. But there are other debates too, like which superstars make up the Top 10, or the Top 20, or which ones would fill a starting 5 that could be considered the greatest of all time.

NBA Fans Debate Which 5 Of These 10 Superstars They Would Keep In The Ultimate Starting Lineup

Everyone has their idea of which players make it to the top 10. And an Instagram page recently shared a picture of 10 of the greatest superstars since the early 90s. Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Kobe Bryant were included, with Hakeem Olajuwon, Magic Johnson, and Shaquille O’Neal also on the list. Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Tim Duncan, and Dirk Nowitzki rounded out the list. And fans chose which 5 they would pick to make the greatest starting 5 and who they would cut.

“Shaq, Kobe, KD, Bron & Steph.”

“Any starting five without Michael Jordan is unserious.”

“Magic PG, Kobe SG, Jordan SF, Duncan PF, Shaq C! Game over!”

“People that don’t have Jordan in the lineup you can’t trust.”

“Shaq, Steph, KD, Lebron and Kobe. The spacing for Shaq and Steph would@make this 5 virtually unguardable.”

“Lots of people sleeping on Dirk. Steph, Kobe, MJ, Dirk, and Shaq would run the game.”

“Michael, Magic, LeBron, Duncan, Hakeem unbeatable.”

“Curry, MJ, Kobe, Tim and Shaq. Unstoppable.”

“I’ll take MJ and any 4 but never LBJ.”

“Magic, MJ, Kobe, Duncan, Shaq, it’s a wrap.”

“Kobe, MJ, Lebron, Dirk, Hakeem would be the most stacked line up in all aspects.”

“Dirk and Hakeem didn’t win the toughest rings ever to get disrespected like this by y’all.”

“Michael Jordan and LeBron James on the same team rolls just about anyone.”

There are many permutations and combinations here, the skill sets of each player would make a lot of these teams unbeatable. There is something sad about the fact that NBA fans won’t get to witness a team like this in action in reality, but it remains an interesting prospect to think and dream about.
