It’s time to play a game. While the NBA remains in a hiatus, fans can create their own dynasty to kill some time during this quarantine. It’s been almost a month since the NBA suspended the 2019/20 and the only thing fans can do now is imagine hypothetical scenarios regarding their favorite players and teams.

But, today we’re going to present to you the challenge of building your own dynasty. We’ve always imagined how it’d be if we were in charge of an NBA team to take it to glory and made them a huge force in the association like those Lakers and Spurs in the 2000s, as well as the Miami Heat and the Golden State Warriors in the 2010s.

That said, let’s see what you can do with this list. Build your perfect NBA dynasty.

We have big players to start a franchise. LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, and Stephen Curry. These players are seen as the best of the best in the league.

They need teammates, of course. Jordan said ‘talent wins games, but teamwork wins championships’, and we have some good options to accompany these guys. James Harden, Paul George, Joel Embiid, Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis are the options for the second star for your hypothetical team, the perfect wingman for the franchise player.

Let’s make a big three now. We need a third star like the Spurs with Manu Ginobili, Tony Parker, and Tim Duncan or the Heat with LeBron, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh. For third stars, we have Damian Lillard, Kyrie Irving, Zion Williamson, Ben Simmons, and Jayson Tatum. We have young players here who can become the face of the league in the future, as well as veterans who can make a big impact with the franchise players.

Now we get to pick our coach. Gregg Popovich, Erik Spoelstra, Steve Kerr, Nick Nurse, and Doc Rivers have all shown they can win in the NBA. It depends on what style you like the most, so choose wisely.

Then, it’s time to pick your logo. Pick between a shark, a lion, a tiger, a wolf, and a snake to be the image of your team.

At this point, you’re good to go. You probably picked a very talented team with a great coach, but now ask yourself: is your team capable of winning everything in today’s NBA?
