Kevin Durant Thanks Drita D’Avanzo For Her Support: “Im About To Go Stream ‘Slap A B*tch’ Right Now”

2 Min Read

Kevin Durant continues to be in the news during this offseason. The Nets superstar might have had an early exit from the playoffs this year, but that hasn’t stopped him from firing off on social media anytime he feels he has been slighted. His latest exchange came with former teammate Draymond Green, who was hyping up Steph Curry’s contributions to those titles they won together, with KD terming it as 100% false.

It’s not all bad all the time for KD on Twitter, however. He does have some great moments as well interacting with his followers and he seems to have found a big fan in Drita D’Avanzo. D’Avanzo claimed she’d always been a fan of KD but she has become a bigger fan after listening to him on the Netflix show “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction” with David Letterman:

“Thanks Drita. Im about to go stream ‘slap a b*tch’ right now.”

KD appreciated the compliment and told her he’d listen to her solo song “Slap a B*tch”. He sure has plenty of time on his hands, so he might as well do her a favor here by tuning into it. It was a nice light-hearted moment among all the other exchanges that KD has been having recently on Twitter.

It seems like things are a bit tense with the Nets internally as well, with rumors coming out that KD hasn’t spoken to the team since they exited from the playoffs. These have come off the back of reports that the Nets are unwilling to offer Kyrie Irving a max extension and you have to wonder if Durant would want out if the Nets let his co-star walk this offseason. KD and Kyrie were a package deal when they joined the Nets back in 2019 and if the Nets want Irving out of the building, then KD might just want to follow him on the way out.
