Patrick Beverley Reacts To Tweet Saying That All Of His Teams Make The Playoffs: “Facts.”

During his time with the Los Angeles Clippers, Patrick Beverley was known for his gritty perimeter defense and hustle on the court. He later developed a solid 3PT jumper, and it is fair to say that he is a very solid 3 and D guard.

Defense is an extremely important part of basketball, and it seems as though every team that Patrick Beverley is on ends up making the playoffs. Patrick Beverley has made the playoffs 8 out of the 9 years of his career, which is certainly a good mark for a role player, and it shows that he is on consistently winning teams.

The Los Angeles Clippers moved Patrick Beverley to the Memphis Grizzlies as part of a trade to get back Eric Bledsoe, and he was subsequently rerouted to the Minnesota Timberwolves. A Timberwolves fan reminded the world that every team Patrick Beverley was on had made the playoffs during his time there, and Patrick Beverley reacted to the Tweet, simply stating “facts”.

The Minnesota Timberwolves certainly will hope that Patrick Beverley’s leadership and grit can help their young talent, and they definitely have enough offensive firepower to be a playoff team. Anthony Edwards, Karl-Anthony Towns, and D’Angelo Russell are a fearsome trio, and perhaps adding Patrick Beverley into the mix can help them break their absence from the postseason.

Of course, nothing is guaranteed, and there’s no doubt that there’s a lot of work to be done in Minnesota before they make the playoffs. However, acquiring a veteran to set the tone is a very solid start, and it looks as though under the newer front office, there’s been a lot of shrewd moves. The Minnesota Timberwolves have made the playoffs only once during center Karl-Anthony Towns’ tenure, and hopefully, that can change next season.
