Shooting guard Bradley Beal is one of the best scorers in the league and has stayed loyal to the Washington Wizards, even signing a $251 million deal with them in 2022 free agency.

However, it seems as though the franchise could end up trading Bradley Beal. There’s no doubt that there will be a lot of suitors for the shooting guard, and a recent report from Shams Charania of The Athletic revealed that the Milwaukee Bucks are expected to be part of the chase.

“It is unclear whether the Wizards will ultimately decide upon a rebuild or if they find an acceptable trade, but sources said both sides are working amicably to find the path forward, with the 2023 NBA Draft looming on June 22. The sources, who were granted anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter, said the Miami Heat and the Milwaukee Bucks are expected to be prominent suitors for Beal if he reaches the market.”

It would definitely be interesting to see Bradley Beal on the Milwaukee Bucks. He would give the team an elite No. 2 option behind Giannis Antetokounmpo, and add an element of shot creation which is useful in the playoffs. The team was eliminated in the first round by the Miami Heat, so changes might have to be made for them to become contenders once again.

This season, Bradley Beal averaged 23.2 PPG, 3.9 RPG, and 5.4 APG for the Washington Wizards. Though his contract is clearly what makes him hard to move, he would be a quality player to add to any team.

Many Expect The Washington Wizards To Enter A Rebuild

Despite Bradley Beal’s individual talent, the team has not found a lot of playoff success with him as the lead star in the franchise. It makes sense that the team would want to explore trades for him, and previous reports revealed that the team is expected to “undertake a full rebuild”.

“Many rival executives The Athletic has polled informally over the last two weeks expect Winger to undertake a full rebuild — if not this offseason, then within the next year,” wrote Josh Robbins of The Athletic.

It will be interesting to see whether Bradley Beal does end up getting traded. He has a no-trade clause in his contract, meaning that he can effectively dictate where he gets moved, and we’ll see where he ends up in the future.
