Though the Miami Heat is Damian Lillard’s preferred destination, there is a chance that he could get traded to another team. The 76ers are a team that has been linked with Damian Lillard in the past, and a recent report revealed that they could easily land him by offering guard Tyrese Maxey.

This is definitely an interesting update from Brian Windhorst. For most people, it would be a no-brainer to trade Tyrese Maxey for Damian Lillard, especially since the team is likely trying to maximize MVP Joel Embiid. However, perhaps the Philadelphia 76ers are gambling on a leap from Tyrese Maxey, and sometimes we have seen internal development double as a win-now move.
This past season, Damian Lillard averaged 32.2 PPG, 4.8 RPG, and 7.3 APG for the Portland Trail Blazers. It is clear that he is an All-NBA performer, and we’ll see where he ends up in the future.
