When it comes to some of the best two-way players in the NBA, the name of Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George is always mentioned.

Throughout his career, PG13 has made a name for himself with his amazing skills on both ends of the floor. George has always been vocal about his idols that, include Kobe Bryant and Tracy McGrady. The Clippers star recently shared how it went for him playing against Kobe and T-Mac for the first time in his career.

“So when I played against T-Mac, it was almost like in awe,” George said. “I was guarding him and I didn’t even wanna rip him ’cause it was just like, I don’t wanna make him look bad. I swear. It was my rookie year, he was in Atlanta. I swear. … I really don’t wanna pressure him. I hope I get some pictures of this to post. I seriously was like, I do not wanna rip him; I was just in awe.”

Getting a chance to play against your idol is a dream come true for most young NBA players, and George’s wish was fulfilled. Apart from his experience of playing against T-Mac, George also shared the story of how it was playing against Kobe for the first time.

“Same s**t with Kobe,” George continued. “I was just in awe until he elbowed me and I’m like, ‘Alright f**k you. Let’s go.’ He elbowed me like in my ribs. I felt it for sure.”

PG13 considered Kobe as his Michael Jordan, and playing against him for the first time must have been a surreal experience for the Clippers star. Either way, both stories prove how lucky George is in his life.
