Bronny James was born with a silver spoon in his mouth thanks to his father LeBron James and has built on that great foundation to become somewhat of a star in his own right.
He is the highest NIL earner in the nation at an estimated $7.2 million and has offers from multiple colleges but he hasn’t let all of this get into his head, as per Andrej Stojakovic, son of former NBA star Peja Stojakovic.
“A lot of people ask me what he is like because a lot of people spectating at these camps don’t get to the same opportunity to talk to him as the players do. We’re around him all the time,” Andrej Stojakovic said, via Marc Spears from Andscape. “It was kind of relieving see him be just another player, not seeing him at a high level. He’s just being him, working hard and staying focused on the task, playing hard with all these people coming to watch us.”
Andrej is a highly regarded prospect in his own right and he has been really impressed by Bronny’s humility. It would be very easy for someone in his position to look down on others and be full of himself, but Bronny is not that kind of an individual.
He and Andrej have got to meet and have a chat as they are facing off at the Nike Hoop Summit 2023, where high school senior stars from the U.S. take on the world’s top young international players.
Bronny James Hinted Which College He Could Play For
The younger Stojakovic has committed to Stanford but Bronny is yet to decide which college he’ll attend. He has plenty of options, as mentioned earlier, and kind of hinted that it could be Oregon. Still, until he makes his final decision, there will be other colleges hoping to have him onboard.
USC’s commit Isaiah Collier is trying to recruit him as well and he called Bronny one of the best all-around players in the country. His stock has certainly risen rapidly in the last few months as he looks to follow in his father’s footsteps and eventually get to the NBA.
