Shaquille O'Neal was certainly not happy about Stephen A. Smith's list of Top 5 NBA players of all time, but he did go on to say that he wasn't mad at the choices.

The ESPN analyst had Michael Jordan, LeBron James, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Bill Russell, and Magic Johnson as his five. Safe to say, O'Neal and Kobe Bryant were two names that were notable absentees.

Taking to Instagram, the Big Diesel shared Smith's list and asked for the audience's opinion poured in generous doses, with Hollywood star Jamie Foxx as one of them who believed the big man should have made the cut.

not mad at this list , gimme your thoughts

Here's what Foxx had to say:

Bro you gotta be on the list!!!!

Earlier, his TNT' show's co-host Charles Barkey revealed his list of Top 10 players, and James wasn't on the Top 5, and for that matter, he didn't have O'Neal on it as well.

NBA Fans React To Shaquille O'Neal Left Out Of Stephen A. Smith's Top 5 NBA Players Of All-Time List

Most fans believed that O'Neal and Bryant should have been on Smith's list, and it was quite absurd that two of the greatest players of the last two decades didn't make the cut.

The likes of Bryant, Johnson, O’Neal, Kareem, and James have all been bonafide Lakers stars, winning titles with the franchise. On that note, here's a look at some of the reactions:

Kobe over Magic every day

I really don’t understand why tim ducan not in this conversation???

Based on pure talent, dominance, and skills… this has to be the list. 1. Lebron James 2. Michael Jordan 3. Magic Johnson 4. Shaquille O’Neal 5. Kobe Bryant

You and Kobe need to somehow be in there Shaq!!!

You can’t take anybody serious that doesn’t have Kobe in the Top 5.

1.Jordan 2. Kobe 3. Kareem or Dr.J 4. Shaq 5. Bird

Bruh you definitely on there. No big man with your athleticism has every existed. You dominated the game

Top 5 has to include Kobe and Shaq

Shaq and Oscar Robertson belong on this list.

No Kobe or shaq get out of here

Everyone's entitled to their opinion. But players, as decorated as O'Neal and Bryant missing out, does give rise to a massive debate.

That said, the big man still is one of the best 7-Footers In NBA History and his achievements speak for themselves.
