The beef between Spencer Dinwiddie and Kyle Kuzma isn’t ending anytime soon, as the Brooklyn Nets star responded following a passionate attack from Kuzma.

Dinwiddie, who is getting ready to start the 2023 NBA Playoffs, downplayed Kuzma’s attacks, labeling words from a 10-year-old.

“At the end of the day, I spoke the truth and I got rebutted with 10-year-old insults,” Dinwiddie told reporters today.

Kuzma went off on his former teammate on Wednesday, calling him out and mocking Dinwiddie for getting traded after signing a $60 million deal. The forward also said that this summer, he will get a bag in free agency while reminding Dinwiddie that he’s an NBA champion while the guard hasn’t won anything in the league.

This came after Dinwiddie told Kuzma that if he was that good, the Lakers should have kept him, which didn’t sit well with the 2020 NBA champion. He was dealt to Washington in the Russell Westbrook trade, while Dinwiddie left the Wizards in the move that brought Kristaps Porzingis to D.C.

Dinwiddie And Kuzma Reignited Old Beef

It’s pretty clear these two have no love for each other, and when nobody remembered that they had beef, Dinwiddie sparked it, taking some shots at Kuzma. As usual, Kuz was ready to defend himself and took some shots at the guard, who is set to lead the Brooklyn Nets against the Philadelphia 76ers this postseason.

This summer will be crucial for Kuzma, who is looking to get a new opportunity and deal in the NBA. He wants to be the best player he can be, regardless of the team that lands him next.

As for Dinwiddie, he appears to feel great at Barclays Center and will try to lead his team as far as he can, but the job will be hard from the very beginning. The Sixers are hungry, and the Nets don’t have the firepower they used to have to go against Joel Embiid and James Harden.
