The New York Knicks have spent a lot of time trying to return to old glories, but things haven’t always worked in their favor. This season, they had renewed hopes after beating the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round of the playoffs, but things have changed a little bit.

Following their struggles against the Miami Heat, Stephen A. Smith had some things to say about the Knicks, calling them out for their lack of effort on the court. Many players apparently didn’t like what Smith said about them and made their feelings known.

The ESPN analyst made it clear he’s not changing his mind and doesn’t care about anybody’s feelings right now.

“To the New York Knicks, and I need an iso. … Word has gotten to me that you all have been complaining about me. … I don’t give a damn. Not even a little bit.”

These are big words from Stephen A., who is the first to celebrate when the Knicks win but also the first one to call them out when something doesn’t go their way. The Knicks found their matchup in the Miami Heat, who beat them in Game 1 of their second-round series, and then took two more games in Miami.

This series has gotten more interesting and fans are excited to see how it ends for the Knicks and Heat.

New York Knicks Secured A Big Win In Game 5 vs. Miami Heat

Game 6 is scheduled for tonight and New York will hope to steal one game from the Heat to send the series to the seventh and final game. This appears to be unlikely to happen in Miami, but crazier things have happened before.

Smith is ready to celebrate and troll the Heat if the Knicks pull off the win, but the Floridian will try to seal the deal and continue their Cinderella story.
