The Curry family is akin to royalty in the NBA. Steph’s greatness on the court, and his branding off the court, have put him and his family in the spotlight, and they are enjoying every second.

Now, even his daughter, Riley, is getting some attention from the basketball community.

This week, Riley found herself in the news again after receiving a pair of brand new Curry 10s from her dad in honor of her 10th birthday.

Riley is now, officially, the first 10-year-old in the world with those kicks, and sneakerheads must be going crazy with jealousy. This also comes after Curry was confronted about not selling his sneakers in girl’s sizes.

Recently, the Golden State superstar received a letter concerning the state of his Under Armour Curry 5’s. 9-year-old Riley (no not that Riley) asked why those shoes weren’t being sold in girl’s sizes and urged the point guard to find a solution.

The letter itself is great, but it’s Curry’s response to the young fan that is grabbing the headlines today.

Apparently, the billion-dollar Athletic brand had mislabelled some of the smaller sizes as “boys,” meaning they had mistakenly mixed in the girl sizes with the boys. Not only does Curry mention this in his letter back, but he assured Riley that it was an issue they were fixing right away.

On a different note, Steph’s sneaker line has easily become one of the most successful in the industry. With a sleek design and quality look, they are right up there with Jordans and Kobe’s when it comes to popularity and notoriety in the sneaker world.

Considering his career, the look of his kicks, and the way he markets to everybody, it’s no surprise that Steph has found a lot of success with Under Armour. As the closest member of his family, it’s also pretty cool that Riley gets to enjoy the special perks that come with sharing the blood of a legend.
