The generation where LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony dominated the NBA has been left behind, as Anthony retired this season and James continues to defy the laws of aging by returning for his 21st season in the NBA.

As we see the balance of power in the NBA switch to the youngsters in the sport, they will also eventually be replaced, possibly by the likes of Kiyan Anthony and Bryce James. The sons of the aforementioned superstars were on the same team in an AAU game and gave the opponents buckets.

Bryce shows tremendous flashes as a player, going through contact and finishing across double teams. Kiyan has some sweet-shooting ability, just like his father. Both these prospects still have a long way to go, but they’re showing some encouraging progress with their basketball skills.

Giving Children An Opportunity To Succeed

A lot of modern-era NBA players have given their children some incredible training to ensure they can at least be considered NBA-level prospects. Bronny James is a solid example, as he wasn’t even a five-star recruit going into his senior year and was likely expected to not be good enough to be drafted. But Bronny kept working on his skills and is now considered a potential lottery pick due to his defensive tools.

Bryce and Kiyan will get everything they need in their basketball journey to be good enough to make the NBA. It ultimately falls on them to keep improving their own skills with hard work on the court. That work is paying off early in their high school careers, but there’s still a long way to go.
