As NBA free agency continues, most of the players have secured new deals for themselves. This year’s free-agent class was not as stacked compared to previous years, with most of the big names signing extensions prior to the end of this season. Players like Chris Paul, Lonzo Ball, DeMar DeRozan, and Kyle Lowry were able to secure new deals for themselves that paid them good money.
Even smaller role players like Alex Caruso and Kendrick Nunn were able to sign new deals that gave them a good amount of money over the recent future. So far, it appears as though most of the teams and players have gotten what they wanted, as the market has grown smaller and smaller over the past few days.
But what about the players that have not signed a big contract yet? Despite most of the big-name free agents being snapped up by franchises, there are still some players remaining on the market who teams have not taken. This could be for a host of reasons, whether it be their health and reliability, wage demands, team cap flexibility, or their overall requirement.
Very rarely do NBA players get neglected by teams during free agency, as any player can turn out to be useful for a franchise in some capacity over the years. At the moment, there are quite a few names still left in the market. No player on this list is as big as Kawhi Leonard. But there are talented stars looking for a new team. Here is the list of the best remaining free agents in the market:
Kawhi Leonard
Lauri Markkanen
Avery Bradley
Dennis Schroder
Wesley Matthews
Paul Millsap
Josh Hart
JJ Redick
Hamidou Diallo
Stanley Johnson

In the Tweet above, Kelly Oubre Jr. is mentioned as a free agent. But since this Tweet went up, reports have emerged that Oubre Jr. has signed an agreement with the Charlotte Hornets. It appears that Oubre will be teaming up with LaMelo Ball, Gordon Hayward, and the rest of the squad when the new season begins.
Andre Iguodala has left this list, as the veteran swingman has agreed to a one-year, $3 million deal with the Golden State Warriors, where he played in five Finals, winning three titles.
Reggie Jackson is returning to the Los Angeles Clippers after a great 2020/21 season with the Californians. The point guard showed up in last season’s playoff, earning a solid contract with the Clips.
Of all the players on this list, only Kawhi Leonard’s future seems to be set. Most reports have suggested that he will re-sign with the LA Clippers. But he is entertaining offers from other franchises. Players like JJ Reddick, Andre Iguodala, and Paul Millsap are close to figuring out their teams, as they do have suitors in the market. Whereas stars like Dennis Schroder, Justise Winslow, and more are yet to find a team with a tangible interest in signing them. Regardless, most of these players will find a new home come the end of free agency, if not all of them.
