John Wall is showing very good things with the Houston Rockets this season. The point guard has found a new home in the NBA after being traded from Washington during the offseason and he’s doing just fine in H-Town. Although the Rockets have been involved in some controversies in recent months, Wall and the new additions have tried to bring something good to this team.

He’s returning to the league after missing a big chunk of the last two seasons and Wall is looking pretty good. He’s still finding his pace, but the things he’s showing are really good for his team. He is confident that’s not the end and has claimed he can do a lot more than he did during his best seasons with the Washington Wizards.

“I feel like the way the NBA is now, I can average more than what I did back in 2016 (career-highs in points, assists). I’m not even close to where I can be…I’m just getting better game by game, finding my rhythm. And I’m still [only] averaging 23 points,” Wall said, via Rockets insider Alykhan Bijani.

In 2016, he averaged 23.1 points, 10.7 assists and 4.2 rebounds, which was his best season with the Washington Wizards. He was the face of that franchise until last year and now things are different for him.

Wall is ready to be an important part of this team regardless of James Harden staying or not. He, DeMarcus Cousins and Christian Wood landed in H-Town to do something good and they’re ambitious. This has been a tumultuous season but Wall and co. have tried to keep this team competitive.
