Isiah Thomas Says LeBron James And Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Are The GOATs On And Off The Court

It’s not a secret to anybody that Isiah Thomas and Michael Jordan simply don’t get along. It’s been like that since their playing days from the Bad Boys Detroit Pistons vs. the Chicago Bulls, it was like that when Thomas was left out of the Dream Team, and it continues to be like that in 2020.

Thomas and Jordan have exchanged subtle jabs at each other for years now, so it’s not a surprise to see that Zeke doesn’t think of MJ as the greatest player in the history of the game.

IT has recently said that he believes that Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and LeBron James are the greatest players of all time, and just doubled-down on his take by adding that they’re also the greatest players off the court:

“I, as an elder in the basketball community recognize and credit the “evolution” of our #nba sport. I share my knowledge, experience, and education with all @KingJames @kaj33 #Goat Status #on and #off the floor. Let it be known!” Thomas tweeted.

Both Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and LeBron James have a huge edge over Michael Jordan – and most athletes – in terms of giving back, fighting for social justice, and speaking up on the issues that matter the most, so we can get why Thomas says that. They’re true inspirations and leaders and not only because of their achievements in sports.

Then again, considering their history and how petty both can be when talking about each other, we have to take everything Thomas says of Jordan – and vice versa – with a grain of salt.
